Microblading is a technique used with a handpiece equipped with a blade of micro-needles very close together used by sliding under the skin to insert a colour. This so-called superficial technique fades quickly because the skin renews itself every 28 days. If the microneedle blade is inserted too deeply, it will scar the skin, often leaving scars.

Do not expose to the sun for up to 2 weeks after the treatment including the tanning salon.

Do not immerse yourself in the pool or the sea.

Always apply sunscreen.

Yes, as soon as the mistake is noticed during the (semi) permanent make-up, you have to re-pigment with a thinner to fade the colour, then give the client a small container with this thinner so that she can apply it at home during the first 4 days after the make-up.

Black pigment is a colour composed with blue. To neutralise this blue, simply add a grey/blue stop to your black pigment to help stabilise it.

NOTE: There are very liquid organic pigments on the market which consist of a carbon powder and whose colour remains black. However, it is VERY risky to get a dispersion of the pigment in the skin during the application. Then it is very difficult to correct.

Lip Pigment: more creamy, less fixative, so during the healing process, it loses some of its colour. (Recommended for people who only want a very light lip contour.

Lip Pigment PLUS: More fixating and liquid, less colour loss during healing, (recommended for the inside of the lips).

3-4 weeks later to make sure that everything is well healed and that the final shade is visible.

Make sure there is no scarring from the microblading before the (semi) permanent make-up procedure.

If the skin is damaged as a result of microblading, it is best not to apply (semi) permanent make-up, as the skin will not retain the colour.

Make-up lasts between 2-5 years depending on skin type, hygiene, sun exposure and skin hydration.

The technique is the same, the appellation is different according to each region/country. Some use the term PERMANENT since some particles remain in the skin even after several years. It is advisable to refresh the colour after 2 to 3 years, this is why the term (SEMI) PERMANENT is more appropriate.

A more fixing pigment (liquid) is more at risk of allergy and the density of colour change is very high.

A more natural creamy pigment will fade over the years.

It is better to retouch a colour than to camouflage it, in both cases it will be necessary to retouch.

Following the questions asked to your client, there is a risk of allergy, it would be preferable to do tests for the pigment and anaesthesia.
